Diego Chavarria is the Owner and Operator of El Dorado farms in Nicaragua! And here at Mercer's coffee we are proud to provide this Direct Trade coffee to you!

El Dorado supports over 300 workers during harvest season, and supports over 40 churches in their region.

Selling Direct Trade Coffee has given Diego the opportunity to improve working conditions, produce better coffee, and pay their workers above the average minimum wage of coffee pickers. Additionally, El Dorado is home to over 100 people year-round, and Direct Trade profits have provided more balanced diets, access to education, and improved the condition of their homes.
